Prompt 18: Snooze

Since my mind was still swarmed with images of bees covered in pollen after the previous prompt, Blush, I decided to keep playing around with this concept.

Originally I played around with the idea of a bee curling up in a flower and viewing it from a top-down perspective. In the end I just couldn't get over how cute it looked when bees fell asleep in flowers. It was so funny with their little bums and legs hanging out of it.

I also realised I could later use the image as part of the courier story. Maybe little Honeybee got so tired from transporting all the mulberries that she decided to sneak off and take a short nap. Only for Mr. Ant to come and look for her.
