Prompt 31: Spooky

For the last prompt I decided to go with something a little bit more traditional. I didn't really grow up celebrating Halloween, so I don't have a personal association with this holiday.

However, I do have experience sitting around a campfire listening to scary stories. So, that is what I decided to draw.

I wanted to create a scene with different insects I drew throughout the challenge and have little Honeybee tell them a spooky story.

Of all the drawings, I definitely think it is the best one. It is mainly because I spent more time on it since I only finished it in January and not during the month of October.

This showed me the difference between the quality in images I could create in a day versus images I could create over a few days.

There are a few things I would still like to change - the fireflies - but overall I really love this drawing and how I portrayed the night scene. I especially love the way I managed to do the shadows.
