NouNet-mening
The following piece is an opinion piece I wrote for the online publication called, Litnet. They were asking writers to submit articles on anything they wished to share. Preferably something current, but it could also be about books, travel, or life in South Africa, love or something that annoys you.
I chose to write about my frustrations with the unwritten rules of the road after getting my drivers license, but I decided to make it a bit comical. I wrote it from a farm girls point of view, learning how to drive only to find out there are "unwritten rules" no one told her about. It was fun writing and finding ways to make parallels with living in a town for the first time and how different it is from living on a farm.
